What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. Cookies allow the site to remember information across pages and visits, such as your preferences or whether you have seen a banner before.
Cookies we use
1. Strictly necessary
We store one item in your browser's local storage called
cardholderjoker_consent_v1. It records your cookie-consent choice so we don't
show the banner on every page. This is always on; without it the consent system cannot
work.
2. Analytics (optional)
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymous heatmaps and session recordings to help us see where the Site is confusing or broken. Microsoft Privacy Statement
- Ahrefs Analytics — privacy-focused, cookie-free traffic analytics. Ahrefs Privacy
3. Advertising (optional)
- Google Ads (gtag.js) — sets cookies under
_gcl_au,_gcl_aw, and similar names to measure ad-conversion performance. Google Ads & Cookies
Your choices
When you first visit the Site, our cookie banner gives you two options:
- Accept all — analytics and advertising cookies are loaded.
- Reject all — only the strictly-necessary preference is stored.
To change your choice later, clear the cardholderjoker_consent_v1 entry from your
browser's storage, or use your browser's site-data controls. The banner will appear again on
your next visit.
Browser controls
You can also block cookies entirely through your browser settings. Note that some web features (including the consent banner state) depend on cookies or local storage and may not work as expected if everything is blocked.
